Meet Justin
My name is Justin Comins. I’m a husband, a father, and an artist who’s always felt most grounded working with my hands. I also live with ADHD, which has shaped the way I think, create, and stay curious.
Before Wylie's, I spent over twenty years as a television executive developing series for Netflix, HBO, National Geographic, and Discovery. Storytelling was at the center of that work, but over time, I felt a pull toward something more tangible. That shift began with restoring a 1970 Honda motorcycle from the ground up, which led me to woodworking and leathercraft, and a deep study of traditional joinery, hand-tooling, and time-honored techniques.
Today, I design and build custom furniture and handcrafted leather goods for clients across the U.S. Every piece is made with intention, built to be lived with, and meant to last.
Our Philosophy
At the heart of Wylie's is a simple belief: the objects we live with should bring us back to the present moment.
In a culture that moves faster every year, carefully made furniture offers something rare: a quiet pause. A place to sit, reflect, and breathe. A reminder that we are human, and that the things worth having are worth waiting for.
We work exclusively with traditional woodworking techniques and source the finest materials from family-owned suppliers. In close collaboration with homeowners, interior designers, and architects across the United States, we create bespoke furniture built to belong in any space, for any lifetime.
