Building More Than Just Beautiful Things

This is Wylie’s first spring, and I find myself reflecting on how much this small business, and the community around it, has already grown. The start of 2025 has been nothing short of incredible. From custom built-ins that transform a room to heirloom-quality pieces that tell a family’s story, every project this season has carried its own unique meaning. And every time someone invites me to create something for their home, I’m reminded exactly why I started Wylie’s Wood and Leather.

It was never just about making furniture.

It’s about creating pieces that carry a soul - pieces that speak to craftsmanship, intentionality, and the beauty of materials that are meant to last. Whether it's a hand-turned wooden vase, a sculpted bowl, or a full-scale installation, I approach each project with the same mindset: that quiet excellence still matters. That heritage can live through design. And that when something is made with integrity, it’s more than functional. It’s meaningful.

This spring and summer feels like a turning point. Wylie’s Wood and Leather is growing, not just in the number of custom pieces I get to build, but in the depth of connections being made. Families sharing their stories. Clients dreaming out loud. Collaborators pushing creative boundaries. It’s a beautiful, messy, deeply rewarding process - and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

As we step into this next season, I’m more excited than ever for what’s ahead. New designs, new commissions, and new stories to help shape through wood and leather.
